Hey all..quick question...anybody know where i can find a listing of all the light names and variables for a bgl im building. Im not too happy with Light_Beacon command....basically looking for a one second flash setting like on the wingtips of planes. I have tried Light_Strobe but doesnt seem to change to what im looking for. Is their a way to name a part to create this effect or must i hand edit through the asm file when saving files option after export..any help would be welcomed and thanks in advance.P.s...i have tried using fsregen but no luck with that

I wish I could help you, as I also wish someone could have helped me a week ago, when I asked how come there's a million wonderful Gmax planes out there, all available with wonderful lights, yet I'm told I can't use Gmax lights to light my street lights on my new Gmax bridge... Is it something to do with .mdl's, vrs, .bgl's...? I think I just answered my own question... Please correct me if I'm wrong...

i remember it being possible by creating to small objects, linking them together and calling the parts Light_Land i believe. You also had to have it angled a certain way to show the light on the ground and if visibility was at a certain level..the beam would show. Unless it has changed since fs2002, still should be able to do it. Its been awhile since i've done it but i'll try to see if its posssible and let you know

That is indeed the way to make light beams, but they will never light a bridge, they can only light the mesh terrain below the bridge. That is the limitation of the lights in GMax.About your flashing light, it could very well be that the aircraft have different timers available. Have you tried all different timers of the MakeMDL SDK?
