Display problem on Win XP

Recommended Posts

Guest

I just got Win XP Pro, and there are a few FS2002 display problems. First, the water reflections don't work, they keep making the water flash between light and dark blue. Second, some, but not all of the reflective textures on default and third-party aircraft work. There are parts of, like the default American Pacific 737, where the front has reflections, but the back is basic textures. Same thing with the repaint of the MD-80 into American colors. Everything reflects except the door. Also, I can only run FS2002 in full screen mode, otherwise the FPS is 0-1, and everything looks like it's out of FS98. What do I do to correct this problem?

There are many here that can help you, but more information from you is needed. First, what are your system specs (mainboard, cpu, memory, video card)? Is XP pro an upgrade from an existing OS, or is it a new OS with a new computer? Help us help you.

Make sure you have all the current Windows XP operating system updates before tackling any graphic issues. Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and have it check your system. If you are current and the graphic issues still remain, then provide your spec info (graphic drivers used, etc.)
