Terrain Mesh: 1000% better in the afternoon.

I can't believe the phenomenal difference between middayand from about 1800 hours onwards.I really comes to life with the incredible shadow effects.All thoese wonderful individual mountain peeks.I has a depth and presence that just ain't there at midday.Was going to put up some comparison screen shots but couldn'tbe bothered with the routine.

I agree as well. I nearly always time my flights so that either take off or landing is at dusk or night. Maybe the fact that everything is a lot darker makes us less able to nit pick ;)

Hmmm ... interesting. I usually fly at dawn for the same reason.
