You can make static aircraft (library object) from any *.gmax aircraft file, such as the ones in the FS2002Pro gmax samples or from the *.gmax files at http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ using the FS2004_GMAX_SDK.exe. Export the *.gmax file as a scenery object. The second step, after you have made all your scenery objects, is to make a master library object *.bgl file and place that file in the scenery folder along with the objects textures. The third step is to call the library objects in a separate *.bgl where you locate them at various LAT/LONG/Headings.You need the FS2002_BGLCOMP_SDK.exe to compile the mater library object and separate location *.bgl(s).For an example, download jetway2.zip and read the How to... on placing multiple jetways.A second method uses old style FS2002 and earlier, *.API methods.W. I have mdltobgl but can't seem to get it to work for me.Seems to have no help file. What I want to do really is turn a couple of FS2000/2002 aircraft into API for use as static for use in FS2002 and FS9When I try with mdltobgl I can't get past the config window properly as it doesnt really make it very clear what I should be placing in each of the Folder paths- and I'm not too certain if this utility will make APIs- can someone explain to me exactly what paths are required( EG : is the "assembler" mdltobgl or what?) and will it do the job?MTIADave
