Recommended Posts

Guest zdfan1

Does anyone know how to add a 3D gate bridge to a default scenery or addon scenery? I have GAMX, GROUND2K4 and AFCAD 2.11. thanks

This depends a bit on what you want. There are gates in the default scenery and when you know their GUID (unique identification number for library objects) you can place these in the scenery. The best way to do this is probably by writing a small piece of XML code that places these library objects at the right coordinates. If you don't want to use the default objects, you can also design your own in GMax of course. The placement of them would then still be the same as above.

I recommend downloading jetways2.zip and read the JetwaysHowTo.txt file for information about installing the Library Objects and making the jetways calling file for your particular airport. The time consuming part is positioning the jetways to the terminal using the LAT/LONG.Lastly, AFCAD221.zip is the latest. If you are using an earlier version, you are missing important functions.W. Sieffert
