Making scenery time specific

Recommended Posts

I was wondering how you make Gmax scenery time specific for a period. Say I want a scenery to change appearance between October 1999 and April 2002, where upon it would change, and then it would change in June 2003. How can I do that?

You can not do this directly from GMax.If you are using the Fs2004 gamepack you could try my MDL Tweaker tool. This allows you to add conditions to the display of the MDL object and day of the year and year are possible conditions. For more information:http://scenerydesign.agerrius.nl/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=24If you are using the Fs2002 gamepack you will have to tweak the source code manual, if you want I can give you an example about that.

You can download it from the SDK site of MS.http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/d..._gmax_setup.exeBut remember that scenery made with this SDK does not work in Fs2002 anymore.
