Ground Cover

Recommended Posts

Guest daveg4otu

Does anyone know of a good way of providing fairly large areas of "ground cover"? - by that I mean something that resembles bushy(scrub?) land. I've tried using tangled lines of reduced size trees but doesn't really look that good . Doing the same with single (reduced) trees isn't much better and takes forever .BTW I'm using FSSC.MTIADave

Have you thought about using a VTP polygon with a texture type that has autogen?

In a word Arno -- no. It's something I know next to nothing about at the moment - I presume you mean using Ground 2K4?So far my use of G2K4 has been limited to changing the landclass files in order to get rid of the default scenery and substitute a better background- then filling that with macros of trees. I can see I've got some more learning to do.Thanks for pointing me in the right directionDave

If you already have some landclass that looks right it could also be that there is autogen on that landclass already.
