Alteration won't display...

Hi all,I'm getting mad! Some kilometers west of Frankfurt (EDDF), there's Wiesbaden airbase (ETOU), by default (FS2K4) represented by 2 beacons and a runway, nothing else. So I wanted to "beef it up" a bit - at least there should be some taxiways, an apron (yes I've got aerial photos) and maybe some buildings/hangars.First, I used AFCAD2 to add the apron as poly and some taxiways. The result was, no runway, no apron, no taxiways. Next Try: create a flatten area with airport, adjust heights in AFCAD (deafault & start loc's). Still, just the grass poly where ETOU once was, remains.I tried that on different ground elevations (higher and lower than default), to no better results.Any idea anyone? Or is this just one of FS2K4's "magic nodes" where no alteration whatever will pass due to internal discrepancies?ThanksTorsten

This is strange, you should be able to alter such things with AFCAD.Are you sure that you saved the modified AFCAD file (BGL) to a folder that is active in FS?And are you maybe having some addons active in the area that could have an influence on your scenery?

Hi,thanks for replying, but this gets more and more complex and mysterious.I deactivated *ANY* scenery that was not MS default. When I fly from EDDF towards ETOU, even the "default" runway has gone now!I guess I should try a clean reinstall... *sheesh*Torsten

You didn't answer Arno's question: did you install the revised Afcad *.bgl file into an active Scenery Folder that also includes a Texture Folder? Before taking such drastic action as you propose, try creating a sub-folder system under the Main Scenery directory.
