Collison with mesh fsds2?

Recommended Posts

Guest aonyn

I created an island in fsds2 and it looks good in fs, but if I set collision detection, it just places a simple bounding box around the island. Is there a way I can set so the collision detection is with the mesh contours and not a bounding box? I also added a winding cave to fly through and would like to get collision with the walls. Is it possible. Thanks,Dave

Nope, that is not possible. FSDS is designed to make 3D objects and not complete mesh terrains. MS has mesh tools for that. With FSDS you can only set crash detection on the bounding box of a part (and it will not become landable either).

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
