Hello allI need some initial help or assistance for that problem: when some airports are beeing "incompatible" to add-on meshes. How do you change the airport altitude?which bgl's are to modify?is there a topic runing inside this forum that i could no see?i saw that an airport is not correct in the new mesh, and my idea was doing following steps, which i please you to comment or/and correct:1. changing values of altitude with AFCAD: Airport & RWY, maybe changing the design of the airport (position, rwy, taxiways, etc.)2. changing altitude for AI-Traffic with JABBGL3. creating a new flatten area for the new airport (if position has changed) with a BGL (i use ground2k4)4. changing the default flatten-area... with WHAT????5. ?Nr.4 + 5(and more) are unknown for me... what can i do.btw... maybe is there a small tutorial how to change default airports?SaludosFrancis

Hello Francis,I believe that you have the correct procedure. There is no need for anything else as far as I know.If you create a new airport layout with AFCAD, modify the original altitude with JABBGL, and create a new flatten with Ground2K4, then everything should be fine. What exactly is the problem?Best regards.Luis

I think though if the default flatten is the wrong size or shape, it is necessary to edit the FL9xxyy0.bgl, probably removing the flattens for the default and adding your own flatten file. Using LWMViewer to locate the correct FL file and flatten areas, then use the LWMViewer disassembler to create the source file and hand edit out the LWMPoly3 calls for those areas. This creates the problem of how best to distribute the modified default files, though (same as with the JABBGL modified AP file ).scott s..
