Arno: need your help

Recommended Posts

Hi Arno,I am attaching a 'Bumpy' created file. The file appears to be excluding all the autogen around the airport. Would it be possible to have a look at the code to see why this is happening?ThanksShez

Hi Shez,I can't see how your polygons are drawn, but could it be that the area in which the autogen is gone match sqaures fitted around your polygons? That would be a normal behavior.I have never tested it, but maybe adding the dummy RotatedCall command to the Bumpy file can solve the autogen exclusion problem here as well.A better solution if you are working for Fs2004 would probably be to use the Fs2004/XML commands, as these don't need Bumpy anymore to make everything smooth (you could also place these below your "normal" scenery of course).

Thanks Arno.I assume the RotatedCall is for the sca file? Would appreciate it if you could "spoon-feed" me the command to be included? As for the XML I think you mean just import the sca file into SceneGenX and compile?RegardsShez

Hi Shez,>I assume the RotatedCall is for the sca file? Would appreciate>it if you could "spoon-feed" me the command to be included?I will have to look it up (long time ago I worked with that dummy command). But you should point to an empty RotatedCall command in each Area block. I will test it here with the files you send me.>As for the XML I think you mean just import the sca file into>SceneGenX and compile?I am not sure if SceneGenX can really read the SCA file correctly. But I guess you already have an AFCAD file for the AI traffic. So I think if you have defined the taxiways there in the correct location, you should not have the bumpy trouble anymore.

Hi Shez,I just tried to add the dummy calls to the SCASM file, but it has no effect on the autogen exclusion in this case (seems that it only works for polygons etc).

Thanks Arno,Did you check the bgl file this generated? It is for Burbank Airport. Did it exclude the autogen there? I guess if the RCall command does not work I will have to use a scenegenx taxi underlay.RegardsShez

Hi Shez,Yes, I loaded the airport without the BGL, with your origional BGL and with the one to which I added the RCall command to. In the last two cases autogen was gone in a certain area.
