aircraft.cfg File Question--AI Aircraft

Recommended Posts

Guest rbbarker

Is there a value that I can change in the aircraft.cfg file so that the particular aircraft will not be used by the AI? I'm not interested in doing all of the things that Traffic Tools and AI Shuffler do...I just want to turn particular aircraft off without changing any other functionality. Thanks.-Boyd Barker WestWind Airlines BOS Hub Manager

Change the title of the aircraft in the .cfg. The traffic database won't find it and therefore won't use it.

Only if there's a flight that uses that aircraft. The alternative would be to use Ttools, and rename/delete that plane in the aircraft.txt.I don't know how multiplayer identifies aircraft. If it goes by name, your sim won't recognize that aircraft if it's used by others.
