Hi,Made a pylon... and after saving, I want to change the radius and height of the object: is it possible ? Have long searched and red the help files to do the pylon with red and white segments. Hope I can change because manipulating/texturing such a thin pylon was not easy... so I made the radius too lange.Greetz. Jos

Hello,Have meanwhile found the way to make the pylon with red and white segments with the properties set right.Made it as follows:Made the cilinder (segment 1) with the right properties. Then (in Front view) cloned it 6 times. Then gave the 7 segments their color. At last converted the first segment to Editable Patch and moved the second segment into place. Selected the first segment and then clicked on Attach button and selected the place where the two segments meets eachother and activated the Attach command... done. Follows the rest of the segments.A lot of work. But my question still remains.Greetz. Jos

Hi Jose,Once you have converted the objects to editable patch/poly/mesh you can no longer change the parameters of the origional object. So maybe you can use the scale modifier on your object to scale it in the direction you want.

Hi...-------------------Saw on the Web a tutorial for making a cone with lofting technique... -------------------And this is not working. Pitty there is no written tutorial available. I think the problem comes just at the beginning of the tutorial with the setup of the circles... that is not enough explained.Hope for the best. Jos
