.. that in FS9, would it be more efficient to place library objects in .agn files rather than separate .bgl's?George

Hi George,I don't know if this really makes a difference. It is not that easy to place them with a AGN file (it would require photo scenery and you would have to make a class for each library object if you want to define the object exactly). So I think placing them with a BGL is a lot easier. The AGN option is only useful when you have a class of objects that you want to be placed randomly on your photo.

Thanks for that Arno.I do have photographic scenery and have written programs to place objects in agns and also in bgls I was just wondering which would be more efficient. I suppose the easiest thing would be for me to try both methods.George

Hi George,In that case I think a test is indeed a good idea :). I am certainly also interested in the result. Although for mainy scenery designers using the BGL is the only option to place objects as they do not have a photo scenery for their area.
