Thought I would ask the experts of this fine forum about a few issues I seem to be having.1. With ground2k4 I have drawn the path I want my river to follow BUT it just tosses water in the entire square. I have assigned both a water AND a landclass but still the same result. Here are 4 pics to show you...http://www.projectopensky.com/gary/mdn/fsscr000.jpghttp://www.projectopensky.com/gary/mdn/fsscr001.jpghttp://www.projectopensky.com/gary/mdn/fsscr003.jpghttp://www.projectopensky.com/gary/mdn/fsscr004.jpgNow for issue 2.These dang lines in my ground polys, In gmax I have made for certain they are 100% perfectly aligned and I STILL get these seams. some are darker than others.http://www.projectopensky.com/gary/mdn/fsscr002.jpgWould really appreciate any help boys!! Hi Gary,About the seams in the GMax polygons. I always notice a few small ones when I make a grid as well. But these are not as visible as the ones you show in your screenshot.Last week there also was a discussion about this problem on my website, but we did not really found a real answer.Maybe (this is something that just comes to my mind) you could lessen the effect if you tweak the texture mappings a bit in the ASM files. I have seen that GMax has some rounding error there sometimes.

Hello Gary,Generally, if you are getting water when you want land, you can assume that it is a land class issue. To define land, each Area requires that all 4 of its vertices receive a land class assignment. So, perhaps you could try extending your land class assignments quite a bit around your body of water and see what happens. The only other possibility that comes to mind is if there is a water mask present, in which case it must be covered with a land mask first before assigning land class.By the way, that photo-real ground looks great!Best regards.Luis
