Waterclass: Compiling .raw to .bgl

Recommended Posts

Guest Che Monro

I'm using ground2k4 to make a scenery set at Fraser Island in Queensland, Australia. The water color varies from bright blue to dark blue and I'm trying to depict this with different water classes. Ground2k produces waterclass files in .raw format, not .tmf. How do I compile .raw waterclass files into .bgl format? Che

Hello Che,I think this is a bug with G2k4. I have similar problems with landclasses. It actually produces a *.tmf file, but not in correct location. I find the LC*.tmf file in either the project or the bgl-output folder (its the same for my projects). You find the needed tmpWC.inf file in the g2k4/Temp/ folder.I actually compile the LC/WC files with Ground2k V3.03Cheers,Edgar

Hello Che, I have had this problem with all versions of Ground2K. For me, the reason is that I have the program in a directory with spaces in the name, i.e.:C:FS ConstruccionGround2k4Normally, however, if you install it to the root directory, as in:C:Ground2K4then your water class, and land class, files will compile directly to a bgl.The fault lies not with Ground2K4, but with DOS programs (Resample) that do not appreciate spaces in path names.Best regards.Luis
