Intelligent Tower View

Recommended Posts

I've always missed a feature that you find in many military sims like Jane's USAF or Novalogic F-22 that give you a simple fly-by view. This requires the software moving the camera intelligently as you move about.I particularly like watching my takeoffs and landings and the default camera position at most airports is miles away and very high up from the active runway (often with a bldg obstructing the view).I know I can use map view to move the tower by dragging the icon and adjusting the altitude, but this is a pain. Can someone design a module that intelligently moves the camera to the same general area and altitude of the aircraft so I can get a quick instant replay of my takeoff without a lot of effort? Is this even possible in FS2002? I think someone did this for FS2000.Dave
