TLK-39...any good?

Recommended Posts

Guest Dominik Mann

This week I saw the boxed retail version of the TLK-39 add-on ("Flight Training" I believe it is called) in a software store, but did not want to buy it right away. I'd first like to hear what you can tell me about this package and if it's worth its money :-) .Thanks!!!

If I recall it correctly the retail package I am talking about is actually equal to the "L-39 Jet Trainer Package" as listed on http://www.aerol39.com/purchase.htm . That means the full package including the TLK-39C and L-39ZA for FS2000/2002 and CFS2 plus the Konotop scenery. I believe it was published by Just Flight...would have to look again for that, though! The price...not sure, but something between

Hello,if the TLK-39 is as good as captainsim's MIG-21 it must be great. I recently obtained the MIG by online purchase and I'm completely satisfied. So far, the MIG-21 is not available in a boxed version to my knowledge, and it is not available for CFS2, since it was designed especially for FS2002. But captainsim announced that a CFS2 Version will become available and it will be free for all existing MIG-21 customers.I like the Konotop scenery as well, there is a small mobile radar unit next to the runway, surrounded by barbed wire, so be careful! There is a support forum in russian and english on captainsim's website. For me support was perfect.Yours, -from Koenigstein/Ts. -SaintX

Thank you all guys for the kind words.Yes, the L-39 is available in both retail boxed (from Just Flight) and download versions (our web site, Flight 1, Simmarket.com).The MiG-21 is currently available by download (or burned on CD-R) from our web site, Flight1 and Simmarket.com. We expect MiG-21 retail box release this summer-fall.As for our support forum, we understand all those inconveniences which English speaking users face at our Russian forum (at Sukhoi.ru). But good news are: we've got an invitation from AVSIM ONLINE management to set up our support forum here, at AVSIM.COM! We are happy to accept the invitation, and we'll move here by our Boeing 727 release date (this summer). Thanks,
