Need sbuilder help

Recommended Posts

Guest 46th_Terror

I am using sbuilder to make some scenery for fs2004. I am trying to place a vtp2 poly using a stock assembled grass texture. When in game I can see my texture on the left fine. But on the right the stock scenery has some rock texture that keeps showing up on top of my grass texture. I have tried changing the layer of the grass many times including setting it to 80. Is there a trick to getting my grass to show on top of the rock?

Hi,If the rock you see is a VTP polygon or landclass, then I would expect that it should work by increasing the layer. It is werid that that does not seem to work for you.Are you sure that rock texture is part of the mesh scenery as well and not a 3D object or part of an airport?

The rock is a stock layer. And for some reason I cant explaine it just decided to work. Go figure. But I will take it. I learned a long time ago to not to try to explaine these things just be glad it happened :)
