getting a straight line elevated platform

Recommended Posts

Hi folksUsing LWM and AFCAD apron polys to model a platfom on which a runway partly sits, I cannot get straight lines. It looks very much like G2k4 or FS9 don't "antialias" lines and render them as a wave. Have sny of you a clue on how to straigthen things up (pun intended) ? thanks in advanceimage87pr.jpg

Hi,I think you're out of luck. The flattens get applied on top of the terrain, which is aligned to a grid. Think of them as enormous pixels.Cheers,Jim

If you create another afcad with height at ground level and a single taxiway with surface type "UNKNOWN" and having the length and width of your runway, this should give you a "floating" elevated runway. Ensure that the new afcad is loaded before your existing one. Here's one I made earlier:Heliport.jpgGeorge
