Is it Possible To Back Up FS2002

HI, Guys is it possible to make a back up copy of fs2002 by replacing the default files in fs2002 with the numerous[and better] freeware files that are on the net,it will save alot of time if like me u tend to format alot.If it can be done what pitfalls should i look out for thanx for your help on this .........ted

jerrycwo4 I've 'backed up' my Fs200X, many times but I do it by burning to a CD everything that I add or change from the original default instalation.jerry

But you still end up remistalling FS2002 and then jsut copiying over the original folders with the backed up ones.

Ted,If you have WinZip right click on the FS2002 folder and choose "WinZip / Add to FS2002.ZIP". Make sure you check "Save full path info".The whole installation will be compressed into one ZIP file which can then be copied to CD or moved to another hard drive.Cheers,

There is even no registry problem, I think. I assume you do not backup the keys!BTW I tried some thing similar, well I had FlightSim on D: and Windows on C: then I formatted C: and reinstalled Windows. Then I just thought, let's start fs2002.exe (which was on D:) and he just asked me to accept the EULA again but then it worked.Regards :-wave from EDDFhttp://flightsimmers.net/airport/etti/signature_pro.jpg
