Is there a way to increase ai aircraft? I have the slider all the way up but was wondering if there is a way in a cfg file to increase the number manually? Thanks.

Try using AIShuffler (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/aishuffler/aindex.html)After using it my FS skies were filled with AI aircraft.Now I have my AI slider on 20 percent and I still have more traffic than with 100 percent default AI!Be warned though, AI traffic is very hard on frame-rates.Especially if you're using 3rd party aircraft (POSKY, PSS, etc.)I simply had to reduce the AI slider to get the same frame-rates as before (with default AI traffic)Gideonhttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cdd304e3d339f8a.gifhttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cdd2ffc3c58597a.gif

How did you get AI Shuffler to work? Whenever I have it generate the traffic it tells me 'Could not determine what group Air Canada 767-300ER belongs to, so its flihgts will not be added into ai traffic'. It does that to almost every A/C that I want to use...Any ideas? I tried all the directions, made every a/c have an airline, flight number, reg # and model type.Scott

Scott,I got this message too but only for some of the Dreamfleet Archer models (but it imported them anyway) all other flight-plans were generated.Did you try temporarily removing your 3rd party aircraft from the aircraft folder and then using AI Shuffler? See if it works with only default aircraft.I have the FSD Commander, FSD Cheyenne, 767 POSKY/PIC, Dreamfleet Archer (plus default FS aircraft) and AI Shuffler didn't complain (except the issue I described above)I've noticed though that the FSD aircraft were not imported by AIShufller, probably some info missing or a model problem.Have you tried contacting the author?Gideonhttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cdd304e3d339f8a.gifhttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cdd2ffc3c58597a.gif

Thanks for the info, surprisingly I just got it to work. Before it was a problem with the Posky 767/A330's. Now I only get that for the DF archer and the FSD Commander. It's really nice to see all those different aircraft flying around though...a nice change from the original fs2002. :DScott
