What is the FSX SDK Annotator for???

Recommended Posts

I thought it was for placing buildings but then I discovered the Object Placement Tool. What is it for?

There are many different types of objects in FS, among which we will find: - autogen: these are buildings and trees that display automatically on the various types of ground textures. - library objects: not just buildings, but the whole range of custom and generic objects that are used for greater diversity. The Autogen Annotator serves to create an autogen annotation file for the ground texture - it indicates where autogen buildings and trees should appear for that texture. Please read the Autogen SDK documentation for more information. The Object Placement Tool is used to place library objects that are not autogen.Best regards.Luis
