July 29, 200718 yr Anyone know why TANK01 (default MS scenery) disappears at night? They are still there, they are just see though. If you get really close, and there's a little sun left, you can *juuuuuust* see a ring that is their base.Slew inside of them and un-slew and you get popped back outside of the ring, so they are there - just invisnable....
July 30, 200718 yr If these are the default tanks seen for example at Seattle, just to the right of 34R, then there was a problem with the default lightmap texture. There was a replacement issued here at Avsim a couple of years ago.The above applies to FS2004.
July 30, 200718 yr Commercial Member Hi there, our Glacier Bay v2 package, here in the library, contains a replacement file with proper night textures. However, if you don't want to install it just for that purpose then finding the individual replacement file MeshMan mentions would obviously be easier.Cheers, Holger

August 1, 200718 yr Sorry I was beating a dead and buried horse :)Thanks for the input on what was causing the trouble - I've concluded that best answer was to change to another tank, don't recall it's name off the top of my head ATM...I have to say, it does irk me a bit - I hate that sort of thing, as it strikes me as sloppy work...
