I feel like I'm at my wits end with this.I installed the SDK for FSX and I installed the SDK patch. My Flight Simulator is not installed in the default location so I ran ConfigSDK.I changed the dll.xml, mine says this:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>Launchdll.xmlFalseFalseObject Placement ToolFalseFalseC:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator X SDKSDKMission Creation KitObject_Placement.dllTraffic ToolboxFalseFalseC:Program FilesMicrosoft Flight Simulator X SDKSDKEnvironment KitTraffic Toolbox SDKtraffictoolbox.dllVisual Effects ToolFalseFalseC:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator X SDKSDKEnvironment KitSpecial Effects SDKvisualfxtool.dllI've searched the forum, but when other people have had activation problems, they've been resolved by things I've already done.

Hi,Are you sure you installed the correct version of the SDK? If you are running FsX with the SP1 update, you will need to use the SDK SP1A update with that. Older versions do not work correct.

Yes that did it. I had an older patch and wasn't aware there was newer one. Thank you for the help.

Has anyone else had any problem moving the Object Placement Tool around the screen, so it does not block the view? Is there something I'm not doing to "unlock" the screen.

I think this is a common problem, as you can not really resize the Object Placement tool screen itself. I am lucky to have two monitors here. So I always drag the tool to the second one, that way it does not block the view at all.

I'm not looking to resize it, but move it, which I haven't been able to do.

You should be able to move it around without problems. Just drag the top side of the OPT window to where you want it.

The thing just won't move no matter where I click on it.
