Using Only Roads From Terrascene??

Does anyone have a process whereby the roads from Terrascene can be overlayed atop the generic FS2002 textures??? See roads from Terrascene below on white background.Dick

Hi Dick.This probably belongs in the MSFS Scenery design forum. :)I'm hoping in a few weeks to have a working example of exactly what you are asking.Roads in Terrascene output are actually polygons. And Chris Wright's AutoASM can translate such polygons into LWM code. With a little work, a "search'n'replace' function of a wordprocessor might be able to translate the LWM code to VTP Method1 polygons... So, we may be able to do just what you have in mind... and not just roads, but all the "layers" of Terrascene may be able to be translated to VTP or LWM code... watermasking, shorelines, raillines, landuse polys.My problem right now is a little lack of time to do it, and some unfamiliarity with Chris' program just now. If you were to study the coding of LWM code and VTP Method1 code, you'd probably notice the similarity.It would be nice to get all those city streets into VTP code. Other simmers are experimenting with shapefiles and DLG to produce the normal VTP Method2 road lines, so something may soon breakthrough in that area, and bypass the need for Terrascene entirely.Dick
