Thanks Julio, they look fantastic!Yes, the waves are a shortcoming... I am not sure if a coastline can be defined on the photorealistic texture.

Hi Julio.The default waves of FS2002 are tied to the texture used for the VTP2 lines... these lines are not compatible with photoreal scenery. :(But... waves are effects, and effects will show over photoreal slices ( just as objects can be placed on them ). So it should be possible to create waves. I've never read of anyone doing this, but it should be possible to place a wave effect wherever you want.Dick

It can be placed with BGLPlacer and BGLC... just place the "mywavecontroller.fx" and give it the heading you want.( "mywavecontroller.fx" and "my_fx_waves.fx" need to be in the effects folder ).Problems?The wave is at about a 15* angle, and the placement point is offset from the wave origin, not the end of the wave ( which seems to be 10-15 meters away ).Some experimentation should yield a good wave effect.Dick
