AI Traffic at 3-Character Airports Works!

One thing I notice is that you have a repeat period of 1 hr, but the flight takes 1:05. Try making the repeat period 2 hr.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Shouldn't your hold short point be the last point *before* the plane takes the runway?-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Bill -Well, per the AFCAD directions, I added a Tower frequency to 3CK.I also added FSS, ATIS, and one more (forget at the moment). Ofcourse 3CK does not have these services, but I thought it wouldbe a bit more fun as opposed to using UNICOM.I also added a physical tower so I can watch the activity aroundthe airport (and my landings via the Tower view).JerryG

Also, there is a 'closed loop' for taxiing. Also, if you display the "Starting Points" on the screen, it will help you place the runway entry nodes just *behind* the purple circle. This seems to be one of the 'keys' to successful editing.I'm attaching the 1X41.txt (AFCAD file), as well as the sample flightplans.txt I've been using. There are a number of closed circuit flights, as well as flights to/from KMIA, KPMP and KFXE.It should be an easy matter to re-edit the taxiways to suit your scenery! Just DON'T move the runways, hold short nodes, etc... :) Planes actually T/O and LAND on the runway as it is!

actually bill the "next to the last entry" is irrelevant and used for display purposes and ATC purposes only.I've set up flight plans with the same flight number and tail number on 50 flight paths (so I can see if aircraft are parking / taxing / taking off correctly) with no ill effects. the only reason I even tried doing that is I am toooooo lazy and just copy/paste the same line in my flightplans.txt file 50 times-j
