Any list(s) of GMAX aircraft suitable for AI traffic?

Recommended Posts

Hi Jack,Thanks for the plug. :)The batch that are up there are the "phase 1" aircraft, with default AIR files. I will eventually (!) upload the second phase aircraft, with (slightly) improved AI flight dynamics. I have found that lowering the engine thrust (as described by Stamatis) reduces the crazy climb rate, and if you reduce the Elevator Effectiveness this helps as well. If you get this too low, you will get porpoising on approach though.I have also been changing the radius of my aircraft, and now they all park at the correct terminals. I set them up by airline - United's are 24 meters radius, American are 23 meters, etc. I then set the parking spots in AFCAD just a bit larger than 24 and 23 meters. The new version of AITM lets you do this with GMAX aircraft, and the next version should do the same with FSDS and AF99 aircraft.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
