Help...Third party airport

Recommended Posts

Guest

I just downloaded the AFCAD files for KDEN and KSFO for Airport 2000 Vol 2. I am having a very strange thing happening. I did the normal thing to add the files. There is one problem, when I go to these airports and place the plane on the runway the plane is to the right of the runway. I went into AFCAD to see where the plane was postioned according to AFCAD and it was according to the diagram positioned to the rignt also. To check it I went into FS2002 and removed the Wilco scenery but left the plane sitting to the right of the runway. To my surprise the plane was sitting in the middle of the runway of the FS2002 scenery. I went back to AFCAD and looked again and the plane position was on AFCAD to the right of the runway. Why does FS2002 place the airplane in the wrong position when I go into Go to Airport and type in KDEN and choice a runway. This is the first time this has happened. Maybe this is a clue when on the airport I get a window pop up that states some of the scenery files maybe missing and certain building may not be seen. Thank you for any help you guys can be in helping me solve this mystery. David AlbrightFAA Flight dispatcherSingle and Mult-engine rated pilot

Go into AFCAD, load the airport, and then use the Show Start Positions menu item. Are they located in the correct places? If not, move them to the middle of the runway.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
