You're certainly welcome, Thomas!!I would like to thank Thomas for his amazingly fast development of the aircraft radius adjustment of most non-GMAX aircraft and the new timetable in AITM. He really has gone beyond the normal FS developer and has worked so so hard.I really love the new timetable, which allows me to sit at an airport using the viewpoint tower and check out where all these planes are coming from and going to. BTW, it's a great debugging tool as well, in case there is a problem with a certain flight plan. And, I love the radius feature! I have set the radius according to airline (i.e. all United aircraft are set to 24 meters, all American's to 23 meters, etc.), and have adjusted the gates in AFCAD to just allow that size plane at the correct terminals (a conversion: 1 meter = 3.281 feet). Now all the planes at my large airports park at the correct terminal (and in some cases, at the exact parking spot). Below is a shot of my LAX in 1959:The near terminal is shared by Western (DC-6B's) and the international carriers, including the SAS DC-7C. The next terminal was American's with their Douglas DC-6, DC-6B, and DC-7's, with Continental's Viscount using Gate 4. This is followed by the United terminal with the same Doug's and the Convair 340. Beyond that were the local service carriers (Pacific 404's and a Bonanza F-27), and last (but not least) was TWA, with 2 Connies (an L-749 and an L-1649A) visible in the distance. Thanks again,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Ah! The old days, when you could go to the airport, not have people checking your underwear for weapons, get on an airplane that had comfortable seating, enjoyable aircrew (without weapons), and not smell the odor of burnt kerosene!

Tom, that's really neat. And I really like the classic airliners site. Might do one myself for my area. Where did you find the historical data about which planes and airlines serviced an area?Mike

Thanks! For the flights I purchased old timetables, mostly on ebay.I got the airport terminal info mostly from magazine articles about the history of LAX, and from the book Airliners at LAX.I have also had a few emails from people who worked there, and they filled in the details.Take care,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Hi,there's a little bug in the Airport Timetable function. Weekly plans departure times are incorrectly displayed. A fix for this will be ready for this evening. AITM V1.1 Final will be available this weekend.CheersThomas

Thomas,Many thanks for this wonderful program. You've added many features into one easy to use package. I do have one suggestion/request. Is it possible to show the arrival times in the editor? Thanks and keep up the great work!Matt Zagoren

I like to keep the "turnaround" time at an hour or less if possible. Knowing the approximate arrival time helps when setting the departure time. Minimizing the time-on-ground keeps the virtual skies full of airplanes. Personally, seeing aircraft sitting at the gate doesn't do much for me. I like seeing them in the air where they belong! :)Thanks!Matt Zagoren

You are right. I'll add a new column that will show the leg arrival time.ThomasPS: This will be included in the Beta Fix tonight.

Well it's no problem to add this single column. But if you talk about customer service I should start taking money for this. :)Thomas

Great Work Thomas! Thank you for your tool, so much handy tools all in one package :) I love the Aircraft Editor, Shuffler, Mover. Reaaally helpful. Btw, just an idea for future improvement, Could you make another option to Shuffler, so that we can specify if certain airlines only able to make domestic flights? Or I can specify certain intl/domestic flightplan can only use certain airports? ( I have 2 overlays for my hometown airport, 1 for domestic flights, and another for international flights), 1 biggest national flag carrier uses both domestic and international terminal, but another airlines just use another terminal according their nationality. (1 terminal = 1 runway). Also it would be nice to see an option for probability to use heavy jets on short flightplan (ie: 400-800 miles). However, I 1 small question that bugged me all the time, I tried to use AITM Beta (latest fix) and compared it with AIShuffler v0.7 it seems when I use AIShuffler, I will see much more variety intl airlines in my airport, but if I use AITM, I won't see many intl airlines although I did add lots of intl flightplan to my airport. My question is, is this related to AITM Shuffler logic? could we specify which method we want to use? In AIShuffler, I can select shuffler random logic, whether I want to use random distributed or evenly distributed airlines for intl flightplan. Why AITM seems to remove several intl flightplan from my hometown airport. geographically, my hometown is actually almost in the middle of country, it took about 500 miles to go to singapore, and it is make sense if there are huge domestic flights, but my town is capital city! must be alot of intl airlines too. However I tried this logic in EHAM amsterdam, and it looks beautiful (lots of intl airlines), because holland is not as big as indonesia. so lots of intl airlines generated from AITM.
