Problem with new AFCAD ?

Well so I was sitting there adding gates and connecting them, then all of a sudden the program won't allow me to connect them anymore... WHY???Well I tried to delete NODES and TAXIWAYS which are useless anyhow thinking that maybe I exceded limit of number of Nodes or something... the only thing this allowed me is to connect a Gate to an existing Node, still could not have place new Nodes.Now we are not talking here about really complex airports with tons of Nodes just KSDF or KCLE I was modifing.OK well KSDF has currently 50 gates and no more really can be added this one has a lot of Nodes indeedbutKCLE has 26 Gates and it doesn't allow me to add anymore, that is I can not connect them with Nodes, taxiways.. I can still add gates all I want, but cannot connect them...PS: don't know why I put so many gates at KSDF just gonna delete them when I make an overlay :-lol , but that's not the problem though.Thanks

Andy,Make sure you are using AFCAD 1.22, the latest version. Yes that's what i use 1.22 the "New AFCAD", well i will try reinstall it and see what happens.thanksactually just though about it there is nothing to reinstall :-) just extract stuff well i will try it though. let you know

Didn't help... strange line appears from somewhere far far away when i try to click parking spot to connect it to taxi way right infornt of it. I would post a screen shot but for some reason it doesn't allow me to... There is a definite problem with 1.2. Lee asked me to send him the export file. Unfortunately I have already deleted the file. I'm back to 1.1 which works perfectly.My experience is exactly the same as Andy's except it happened at CYYZ.Henry

Yes, I got that too the other day (not being able to connect and the long line). I didn't report it as it happened only at this one airport and I'm not sure if I maybe did something wrong. If you export the airport and look at the file with an editor, you will notice some garbage characters. Delete those lines and reimport it. I did have to do this 2-3 times at this particular airport (VTBD).Andre
