AFCAD newbie: AI gets stuck at hold short node

Recommended Posts

Guest

I created my first AFCAD airport from scratch tonight. The parking and taxiways seem okay, but the aircraft get stuck going on to the runway. I looked in the manual, and the nodes are within limits. There's about 120 ft between the hold short and centerline of the runway, and about 25 ft between the hold short and edge of runway. There is also a blue node 70 ft behind the hold short. Could someone please advise me?

Place the hold short node as near to the runway as possible and your problem will be solved

You're too close to the runway. The manual states your hold short node should be about 120 feet from the edge of the runway.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
