AFCAD 1.22 question, pararel runway question.

Hi All,with the new version of AFCAD, it is now possible (or at least configure) to select certain Rw for Landing or Take Off only. I have a question for experts of AFCAD, is it possible to use 1 runway for take off and the other runway for landing BUT, if the wind changes direction, the other Rw opposition is the take off, and next to it for landing? Here's what I mean : | 27R | T = Terminal | | | 27L | T | |2L T | | | |2R if wind from | |/then I want the active runway is 27L for TO and 27R for Landing, BUT if wind from /| |then I want the active runway is 2L for TO and 2R for Landing.Could some expert help me? I have set : Rw 27R closed for TO, Open for Landing Rw 2L closed for landing, Open for TO Rw 27L closed for landing, Open for TO Rw 2R closed for TO, Open for landing But Tower give Landing clearance on 2R, and give TO clearence on 27L!!!???? Crazy Tower!!! (NB: both runways have same length)

ATC will always give priority to runways with ILS, unless the wind is greater than 10 kts in the opposite direction. Add an ILS to each end of the runways without them in AFCAD, and they should behave identically then.Of course, these fake ILS's will then be listed in the Map View...Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Dammed!, in editor this diagram should be ok.Here's the clear runway diagram :>>> | 27R > | T = Terminal > | > |........| 27L > |....T..| > |2L..T.| >...........| >...........| >...........|2R >>Note : - Please discard the dots, I use it to align the 2R Rw. - All Runway have ILS. (This is WSSS Changi Singapore airport).>>> if wind from | > |/ >>then I want the active runway is 27L for TO and 27R for >Landing, BUT >> if wind from /| > | >>then I want the active runway is 2L for TO and 2R for >Landing. >>Could some expert help me? I have set : > Rw 27R closed for TO, Open for Landing > Rw 2L closed for landing, Open for TO > Rw 27L closed for landing, Open for TO > Rw 2R closed for TO, Open for landing >>But Tower give Landing clearance on 2R, and give TO >clearence on 27L!!!???? I did this EXACT runway layout at KSUU(Travis AFB) It uses, 3L for landing and 3R for take off. BUT wind going in the oppisite direction, causes the runways to be swapped, I.E. 21L now becomes the landing runway, and 21R becomes the one for takeoffs. KSUU has the same layout as the airport diagram you decribed. Hope it helps, if you need more, let me know.Dave
