Solved my Afcad Overlay Problem!

Recommended Posts

Guest

Well, after much persevering, I solved my problem of my Traffic Tools compiler crashing when adding an overlaid airport to my airports.txt file. I am running Windows XP, so I changed the compiler to run in Win98/ME compatibility mode. That solved the problem. I even created a flight for the overlaid airport and it works like a charm. Hope this might be useful to anyone who may experience the same problem. And thanks to all for your suggestions!

What exactly was the problem? I had the same sort of thing (posted here) last week where it would not recognize the overlays and everytime I exported, I lost all flights to them.

Your welcome! That was my tip!I have had it happen to me more then once. Sometimes the compiler wont compile, other times it says that it can find an aircraft in your aircraft.txt file. Just run it in another OS mode and it works...GO Figure!!

1.) Right-click on the Traffic Tools compiler2.) Click on Properties3.) Click on the Compatibility tab4.) Put a check mark in the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"5.) Choose which version of Windows you want the compiler to run in.
