Airline list

Recommended Posts

HI everyone, I've tried to add a new airline callsign (Air Malta)to the airline.cfg list and I have also configured the aircraft.cfg file of the aircraft concerned. Unfortunately I can't get ATC to call the new callsign. Atc just calls the flight number but omits the callsign. Is it possible for me to add this callsign and if yes what do I have to do exactly? Thanks Daniel.

You need to modify the voicepack files to add the callsign. Do a search for "voicepack" (or maybe "voicepak"). It seems like a lot of work to get this stuff set up, but once you've added one callsign then adding others becomes routine.

Changes in airline.cfg have no vocal effect, only textual. To enable ATC to call a new callsign, you need a program called "Editvoicepack".You can browse the libraries to find a set that already contains the Air Malta callsign recorded in it, and add it to your existing voicepack file via this program.Stamatis
