Landed aircraft performing a "180 deg. turn" on the run...

There is an airport with only one runway, and its apron is located next to the mid point of that runway, so are the two taxiways from that apron to the runway. Thus, the two taxiways meet the airport near its midpoint. There are no parallel taxiways to the runway thresholds, so aircraft have to backtrack on the runway.Using AFCAD I have designed at each threshold a "turn-around", as often discussed in this forum, so when departing aircraft backtrack on the runway to reach the thresholds, they make a nice turn and align with the runway centerline ready for takeoff. No problems here, the "turn-around" works like a charm. However, when aircraft land, they of course pass the two taxiways in the middle of the runway before they can slow down for exit, so they have to taxi all the way to the end of the runway, make a turn, and return to meet join the taxiway to the apron. In this case, when the aircraft reach the first of the "turn-around" nodes, instead of following the "turn-around" pattern as when preparing for a takeoff, they turn towards the opposite direction to that of the patttern, onto the grass, and start taxi-ing back to the apron!Any ideas how to fix this and make the arriving aircraft follow the turn-aroound just as they so nicely do when they are taxi-ing for departure?Stamatis

Place numerous nodes along the runway. When the AI aircraft slows to taxi speed, it will use the next available node to execute a u-turn. They'll turn and then use the other nodes to realign down the centerline. Hook links at the end of the runways are not for landing aircraft, they are only effective at realigning departing aircraft for the takeoff run.
