Wrong flight path or wrong destination?

Recommended Posts

Guest jalbanis

This is my first post in the forum, so i must say a big Greek "hello" to all of you first! :) Last week, i 'm fixing up my new traffic files with Greek airliner's (Olympic, Aegean etc) real flight plans. (Lee Swordy, thank you for your precious TTools!)The only problem untill this moment, is with the flights between Athens LGAV and Chania's (Crete) LGSA, that in any case and with any type of a/c give a 3 hours flight vs the real 1/2-1 hour!!!Really mysterious problem and i have no idea what to do with this, trying with some changes but seems to be no solution for this destination...P.S.: And the big disappointment after a hard week with notepads, and numbers, and codes, and...My central airport, Athens LGAV, is full up with a/c!!! There are aircrafts everywhere, no one gate or ramp without a/c, domestic propellers in cargo gates, clones of types that the same time are programmed to be in another airport, even more aircrafts than the real programmed with the f/p (like B717's, that Olympic Airlines have 3 of them and every morning my fs9 put 4-5 OAL B717 in the gates!!!)...This will be my next war, anti-clone war! :-samuraiAny suggestion will be really valuable folks...

It's better making separated flight plans for the same aircraft, like:AC#1,SX-DFD,50%,WEEK,IFR,1/23:55:00,2/08:05:32,380,F,0105,FAJS,2/19:40:00,3/03:50:32,370,F,0106,LGAVAC#1,SX-DFD,50%,WEEK,IFR,3/23:55:00,4/08:05:32,380,F,0105,FAJS,4/19:40:00,5/03:50:32,370,F,0106,LGAVAC#1,SX-DFD,50%,WEEK,IFR,5/23:55:00,6/08:05:32,380,F,0105,FAJS,6/19:40:00,0/03:50:32,370,F,0106,LGAV...or making one single flight plan, like:AC#1,SX-DFD,50%,WEEK,IFR,1/23:55:00,2/08:05:32,380,F,0105,FAJS,2/19:40:00,3/03:50:32,390,F,0106,LGAV,3/23:55:00,4/08:05:32,380,F,0105,FAJS,4/19:40:00,5/03:50:32,390,F,0106,LGAV,5/23:55:00,6/08:05:32,380,F,0105,FAJS,6/19:40:00,0/03:50:32,390,F,0106,LGAVHas to do this with the number of aircrafts that fs9 shows in my suffocated LGAV's gates and ramps???

Hi,Yes. The first example has all three planes at the gates for most of the week not doing anything. The other one will only have one plane sitting around not doing anything for the most part. You need to get your single plane in the second example flying more often! It should fly the first flight to FAJS, and then fly somewhere else within an hour or two. You have it sitting at the airport for 11 hours - most aircraft do not do this in real life. Find the next departure for that type of plane from that airport and schedule it using this aircraft. The only requirement is that it end up in LGAV again at the end of the week.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

There is a notice in TTools Help about this too, with a big-big title! :)But sometimes, we think that understand the terms of a tool and hurry up with enthusiasm to work, without have see all of them!!!My plans are converted as singles now and i have not any problem with clones in my gates! This was only an example, my f/p are as complex as they reasonably can be for every aircraft. Thanks for your reply Tom!
