@ character in flight plans

Recommended Posts

I've noticed that in some flight plans for AI aircraft there is the '@' character placed before departing times and others don't have it. I would like to make some flight plans for some regional airlines but would like to know what is the purpose of the '@'. I remember reading something about this some time ago but don't remember where or when. A search hasn't produced any results either. Would appreciate some factual information. Thanks ahead of time.

Thanks Patrick, I didn't think of looking in the TTools manual. I have another question: Generally, as I understand it, a flight plan circut needs to be completed within 24 hrs. if the occurance rate is specified in 'HRS'. If the 'WEEK' occurance is used, then the circut can take more tha 24 hrs., correct? For example, taking the flight plan between KLAX and YSSY used in the TTools manual, the circut from KLAX-YSSY-KLAX is actually 30:43. Base: AC#11,N10322,10%,WEEK,IFR, Leg1: 2/12:00:00,3/01:43:33,360,F,7366,YSSY, Leg2: 3/05:00:00,3/18:43:36,350,F,7363,KLAXIf this is correct then I believe I have it.Thanks for your helpJim

Hi,Yes,that's correct. However, keep in mind that it will sit at a gate at LAX from Wednesday until the following Tuesday. If it flies more than once a week you should program those flights as well.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
