Double Parking

Recommended Posts

Guest nwa60

Hi all,I am working on custom scenery for my local airport, so I decided to add a few more dep/arr throughout the day for more realism.I created several custom routes and they work pretty well, except for one thing. Around 1600 everyday, I have a Baron 58 landing. Approx. 5 minutes prior, there is a C172, AI generated, which lands. No conflicts, no issues, until the Baron reaches a parking spot. No matter which open spot the Cessna takes, the Baron will use the same spot, even with many spots open.I know how to correct this and that is not the issue. The question is, WHY does this happen? I don't see other AI acft "double parking. I'm thinking it's probably the size of the spot created in AFCad, but all of the spots are the same size, about 10 meters for GA traffic.Anyone else run into this? I find this to be more amusing than a problem!Larry

Hi,This is usually due to a missing red hold short node in the AFCAD file. The Baron probably uses the runway exit with the missing node, while different aircraft use other exits.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
