Hi All,Well, my first Terrascene project worked like a charm. It was a big one. I made a Complete 50 mile radius around my home airport Joliet, Illinois. This includes Chicago, Northern Indiana, and most of the way out towards Iowa. It took 40 hours to render, but Pascal pointed out I need to read the optimization chapter.. :-)The Pod file it created is 860mb large. Think I should upload it.. :-lol :-lolEvery Lake, river, road, interchange, even the little lake by my house was rendered perfectly and TS 2.1 worked like a charm. If you use my Meigs scenery, make sure you don't use the terrascene part of it...but you can use the taxiway and airport/city...http://www.thesalters.org/images/Avsim_sig_KS.jpg

Hi Ken,Same wavelength, I backed up the Chicago, Chicago West, and the CGX POds and left the rest.If I uploaded this, would I need to include an scf file. The only thing in my Joliet folder that TS created was the pod and a windows explorer command file. I've flown at around 10 airports at different sections of the pod and it worked flawlessly the first time everywhere..I guess I don't know if I can just upload the pod and that's it. Hi Grant,Thanks again for all of your repaints. :-)I am checking off the One image per globe tile option and I have adjusted my heap size and texture size in the config files, so my next project should take less time, and be a bit smaller.. :-)You must have a big hard drive for this stuff, and a good amount of Ram. I have 512 mb, so maybe my system is setup pretty well for this. I think you just inspired me to give it a try for the St. Louis area. I've used Ken's scenery which covered Gulf Shores in Alabama and I loved it! So I guess I'll give a a try for St. Louis :-) And nice work by the way!
