Computer freeze in approach

Recommended Posts

Guest

Not always, but most of the times, when flying the 757, the computer freezes in the approach. It seems always when the a/p has locked on to the localizer, the plain is turning final and before the G/S is locked. Before the flight I remove the .hst file.I remember there where earlier posts on this subject. That person intented to throw Fly!II out of the window. I have no plans in that direction, but I must say that it is very frustrating (almost) never to be able to land after a trip. :-grr Can anybody help????

Hans,Search the PMDG Support forum for the answer to this one. I think Lefteris replied to a similar posting there a week or two ago.The short version is that there is a known memory leak that affects the use of ILS, and until they are able to come out with a patch, you may experience this while on the ILS.As I understand it, the fix is on the way.

I think it's an issue of you having installed the 757( a possibly the 777) in reverse order. Read Lefteris installation recommendation in the PMDG forum here at Avsim and confirm that you have done it correctly. I have the 757 and never had a lock up . I am running 512 memory and a g3 t200 128 meg video card.tony
