Need Troubleshooting Help

Recommended Posts

Guest dajackman

Somehow I have gotten this problem: If I start the scenery editor and click the button to add an object, fly dumps. I get no error message, just back at the windows desktop. I have checked the gtfo.txt file and it has no data for today in it. I do have some add ons like biberall but removing them from the data folder doesn't help. Although doing that I get a c++ error. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks again for the help.

How are you entering the Editor - are you already at the location when you enter editing mode?At times, I have found that I need to enter the editor at a distant location, then teleport to the working location within the editor.

Hi,Do you have TM 2.2 installed? If you do I have this problem..Open up your data file in FlyII directory you will see the TM2 MLF file .Make a temp folder and place it in their. Now go and do your stuff.Put the file back when finished as I find the sim crashes if you change vehicle cam and it starts looking for the ai aircraft with the TM2 podSteveMach 2 for fun!My Downloads Are:Liverpool EGGP John Lennon Airport UK.http://ftp.avsim.com/library/sendfile.php?DownloadID=17455EGNR Hawarden (Chester) Airport UK.http://ftp.avsim.com/library/sendfile.php?DownloadID=18370www.yourspaceormine.com http://www.btinternet.com/~stephen_g_brown/steve.jpg

Hi there,I just had the same problem, the same way Steve describes it. Try to fix it this way: Open the datatm2.mlf with notepad, for example, and go to the end of the file. Then clear all the tabs and spaces after "End"Hope this helps you too... Fly seems to be sensitive at this point :-)RegardsRobert:-rotorEDCJ
