A bit of a lament

Being retired for over 20 years all I have is my computer and flight sims.Having seven days for my hobby you can see my frustration that verylittle is accomplished on Sat & Sun. Or like the old movie "LOST WEEKEND".By no means do I begrudge the simmers who like to spend their weekendswith their families, in fact I envy them.GoodyGoody@cableone.net

Hello, Mr. Goodacre. You know the saying: "The grass is always on the other side", close enough. There are many that would like to have more time for their favorite hobbies. If you are ever around Huntington Beach, look me up, and let's take a flight around Queen Mary, Catalina etc. TV

Well, Goody, lots of us are in pretty much the same boat. I work at home, am divorced, my immediate family (mom and brothers) are out of state and I have no kids. I don't get to meet many people.I spend more time than I care to admit in front the computer playing plus I work on the computer! Can't get away from this beige box. :-eekAt least there is the internet and the folks here at Avsim to keep us company. ;-)-Lindy :-wave
