Force Feedback

Hi,just downloaded force_fed.zip to activate force feedback for Fly II. When I unzipped the file there was only a "read me" file-no .dll file to install. Would anyone have this file or was it never included in the download? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks. Qdog

No... I have downloaded the "force_fed.zip" by Josh Gibbs within the last week or so, and it had a dll and it works fine. With my Logitech Wingman 3D, the response is much stronger on "that other sim", so that for Fly 2 I have to re-calibrate the "strength" to about 100% while that other sim gives pretty strong response at around 40%. Hi,I am not so very happy with the force-fed.zip.The FFB only gives some (shaky) experience when rollingdown the tarmac.Airborne the FFB is not active.Increasing airspeed has no impact on the rudder-pressure.Did I do something wrong or is it just a littlebit fake FFB?

No I don`t think you did anything wrong. I was hoping it would make it similar to Fly! but it doesn`t. But at least it`s better than no feedback. I can live with it until something better comes along!

Near as I could see, if you stuck the dll in the right place, there is nothing else to "do wrong". I haven't tested it very extensively, and you are probably right... it does not appear to model flight pressures. It does gear-cycle vibration in the air, however :-) .Maybe somebody can pick up where this one left off :-)Art.
