Installing and Patching in XP

Recommended Posts

Guest

I am reinstalling my Fly!II setup after switching to XP. I have the original version and all of the patches (except the latest one). I was looking to see if there was anything I needed to do different with XP. My plan was to install, then immediately patch to 230 and then to the latest patch before doing anything. I was using InfoMETAR and C4TO before. Does anyone have any advice for using them in XP?I had considered just getting MSFS but I hate to give up all of my Fly!II files. Plus, now that I have a stick with rudder control I want to try my hand at the 407 again. Thanks in advance for letting me take advantage of your collective experiences.

I did not have any problems when I switched to XP with Fly!II. A good thing to do after a clean install of Fly! is to zip the Terminal Reality folder and save it to another drive as a back up, then no more re-installs. Just unzip the back-up to your drive and your good.Paulhttp://www.advdigitalmedia.com/sig.jpg
