How did you to this. Did you use Ifsi. If so what settings did you use. I tried to use Paul Manvilles KDTW for Microsoft 2002 and had no results. I did lose all the taxi ways when I tried to so. So I removed the FSI and all its files and I was back to normal.I would like to have some buildings and gates for DTW. Titus Mendell

Hi Roy,You will see both sets of models then. If you convert NA8, move the existing model-pods to a temporary directory first. Convert without taxiways, it`s better to use/make your own.It is impossible to ever finish modeling of all the Norwegian airports, so my plan is to keep the existing model pods Enbr and Enzv because they have much better textures, an try to convert NA8 for the rest, I just have to find a way to extract Enbr and Enzv before or after conversion. I`m going to convert without taxiways, and make new ones that fits to NA8. When that is done, we can make separate, small pods for taxiway signs. When this is done, I can concentrate on Terrascene/Terrashape and some city pods :)I whish the FSimport GUI was a tad easier to use, I know the readme file can scare away possible users...I`d like to see a tutorial...

Titus,I don't know as if you are doing anything wrong. I have experienced some problems with FS_IMP as you.One of the things I noticed is that FS_IMP tends to exclude any addon scenery that is within the fs2002scenedbcities folder. This may be a general type exclude the author imposed feeling that the files below this folder were default. To test this theory, I moved some addon scenery I developed to a higher folder level, reset the fs2002 scenery.cfg file to read the new area and tried again. Here are the two areas I tried:fs2002ADDON SCENERYfs2002scenedbFS_IMP would recognize the files when I moved them to these locations. However, FS_IMP still would not convert one set of scenery.I don't know if the author/designer needs to decompile the scenery to make the conversion work. If so, he may be using an older version of decompiler that doesn't recognize the newer floating point commands used by fs2002. I am also unsure whether FS_IMP recognizes texture files with the *.r8 format.

I just tried to convert Michigan City Muni KGMC. The author says to install the file in the MS@))@ Scenery Folder which I did. Even in MS2002 there are no textures only white boxes on the buildings.I can't tell which of the files in the zip file are texture files so I can put them in the main texture folder of MSFS2002.I will try moving the file up to ADD ON.Maybe that is the only place the importer looks for files.
