Scenery

Heya,I was wondering if their were any patches or add ons for fly II that I can download that will take Fly II scenery up to that of FS2002s standards. Particuarly in Europe and Britain. I looked in the library but could not find anything. Are their any other liveries for PMDGs 757? ThanksRicEdit: Am I doing somthing wrong, why can I never find files in the library? eg. I will select 'FLY II Scenery' so that it shows all of the scenery avalable for FLYII but then I will go to a site that will link me to avsim and download a file I have never seen before!

Considering that FS has a 10-year start, maybe if enough of us develop and render new sceneries we can catch up in say...10 years. :-)Actually, there are great tools, both within Fly! and from 3rd parties that give great results for rendering improved landscapes or building cities and airports.I rarely have problems with the file library - can you post which files you're attempting to download? Are you using any kind of download program or accelerator? Are you running a firewall?

Hi.You could try FSimport. A small program that has been discussed in this forum only a few days ago.I have not used it myself so far, but I'm going to give it a try as soon as times permit. (Busy making a scabbard for my sword and a chain-mail hood out of some copper wire. :-) )Roy B. :-waveOslo, Norway

Render your own with Terrascene. I have just started rendering my own. I did my local town and I can even follow the streets and find the street I live on. Try that with the other sim. However, using terrascene take some time (mostly waiting) but it is WELL worth it. Enjoy.

Sometimes the scenery can be better than anything I've seen in FS2002 for high level flight. But the scenery I'm referring to, is from satellite pics, a large download, and small area. For the rest of the world, I prefer to use FS2002, or perhaps do some more TerraScene type scenery for FLY. Pics from the FLYII scenery I'm referring to, are in the following post & my reply.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID14/2689.htmlL.Adamson
