G'day Jeff,I'm not sure of your predicament? Does the aircraft function correctly?? and are you looking in the right folder for the *.dll's *.Dll files are not normally "installed" but manually placed in a folder. Maybe a payware aircraft might have an executable zip file. Which particular aircraft are you refering to?Anyway if you can see the *.dll's in the download then try manually placing them in their correct folders.Cheers, Roger @YSSY

Jeff;Yes there are some add-on aircraft with *.dll files as part of the zipfile, some required and some not, but as far as I've seen so far, all require you to manually place the *.dll files in your modulepc folder.Examples:Required *.dll typeSaab340_beta1.zip; (ehsi.dll, eadi.dll, edcp.dll & sf34.dll) these files must be manually placed in ref. folder or you will CTD switching to a/c.Non-required typePA19_Aircraft.zip; (Landinghelp_f2.dll, PA19_rand_weather.dll, PA19_intcam_pilot.dll & PA19_intcam_passenger.dll) these files can be manually placed in ref. folder, but not required to fly the plane.Hope this helps,Robert

Jeff,If you have loaded the dll's correctly but just can't see the files, maybe windows explorer is hiding system files. Go to View-Options in windows explorer (not IE) and make sure that "Hide system files" is not checked. :-coolKen Brand.Perth, Western AustraliaFlying out of YPJT.

Ken ;I think you hit the nail on the head. But can you give me more instructions on how to get to WINDOWS EXPLORER ? And thanks for all the replies! I did unzip the files but the dll`s ARE hidden in the folders , That means i have to click and drag the dll `s out of the zip. Jeff Akins

G'day Jeff,For Windows 98 SE ClickStart/programs/windows exploreronce explorer is open then from the menu bar select;View/folder options/viewand select "show all files".You might like to make a shortcut for windows explorer on your desktop.reduce the explorer window so that you can see part of the desktop screen. Then right click and drag the explorer icon out of the window onto the desktop. As you release the click you will be asked what you want to do. left click "create a shortcut" and a windows explorer shortcut icon will be created on the desktop. If you have a different operating system there may be differences to the above. Just post your OS and someone will detail the info for you.Cheers,Roger @YSSY
