Due to lack of space on my Avsim hangar site I have decided to shut down my Fly! section and continue the work on the Fly2 section.I'm now almost out of space and in order to provide you with the latest news and pics of the projects and addons I have to delete something....So I have puzzled with a new layout for the Fly2 site.So I want to know what you think of it so far!http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e45387b61143859.jpgJohnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/zone.jpg ][/div

Looks good. Are you planning on having a tips and FAQ section similar to the excellent one for Fly at Flight Sim ?Judging by the number of times some questions are asked there seems to be a real need for this. The sites for Fly2 are relatively limited when it comes to tips and questions.:-beerchug

Yeap, I think you can remove the Fly! 2k pages to keep enough space to increase the Fly! II pages. You are doing a fantastic job, and I really appreciate it. It is the occasion to say thank you, Johnny ! :)Yves

Nice buttons Johnny :-hah I think it`s a good idea, and it is easier to concentrate on only one simulator. A tips section is always much needed. I could write up some general tips and scenery tips, the rest is up to the community.

Is there some way that the questions answered and tips given in this forum could be copied to your site ? as e-mails.The FAQ's and tips for Fly2 could then be listed in much the same way as for Fly in Flight Sim.com.The problem with the AVSIM forum is that using the search engine can take a long time and often the search doesn't always give one the required info. Randall, Alejandro and others seem to answer huge numbers of questions and are obviously Fly2 experts. If such people contributed then the databank would soon build up and the amount of time they spend answering the same old questions would diminish rapidly.Alternatives would be for AVSIM to have a similar area on their website or to somehow upgrade Ken Salter's anchored Fly2 FAQ pages.:-wave

Hi Johnny I like onr little caveat though add say a grey back groundto your pages as I ( at least) find the purple text on a white background a little hard on the eyes. BTW although I have not been aroud much of late I know a few things about the innards of both versions databases I will see what I can dig up for you(just ask Randall). :-) Dan
